More Than a Gym

A place to train. A place to belong. A place to dream.

In their corner of Isaan, Boom and Frances created a safe place where local children could learn Muay Thai and channel their energy into something positive.

What began in Boom's father's garden grew into a gym, a community, and (for many of the children) a second home. Through Muay Thai, they receive structure, encouragement, discipline, and people who continue showing up for them.

Your Support Helps Keep the Doors Open

Wor. Watthana depends on people around the world who believe every child deserves safety, support, and the chance to build a meaningful future.

  • A Safe Place

A stable environment where children are cared for and welcomed.

  • Muay Thai Training

Daily structure, physical activity, discipline, mentorship, and meaningful goals.

  • Everyday Essentials

Support for food, school needs, equipment, transportation, and other necessities.

  • A Stronger Future

Opportunities that help children stay connected to school, community, and positive role models.

“It's technically a Muay Thai gym, but mostly a home.”

(Wor. Watthana's own words about the gym)

The children come for Muay Thai, but what grows here reaches far beyond the ring: confidence, responsibility, belonging, and hope.

Built by Boom and Frances, and Sustained by Community

Professional Muay Thai fighters Boom and Frances saw the challenges facing children in Boom's home village and decided that waiting for change was not enough.

They returned to Isaan and began creating the kind of place they wished every child could have: somewhere safe, consistent, and filled with people who believe in them.

Today, Wor. Watthana continues because its wider community chooses to stand in the children's corner.

Building a Home

Care Beyond the Gym

The vision extends beyond training. Wor. Watthana has worked toward bringing the home and gym together in one location so the children can receive more consistent care without relying on an unsustainable routine of transportation between locations.

This is about creating stability: a place where children can train, learn, eat, rest, and grow together.
